Victim Services
DPSCS is committed to providing comprehensive services to the victims of crime. Assistance includes information on the release dates of offenders, the whereabouts of released offenders and help in navigating the criminal justice process. Victim Services is also responsible for providing financial assistance to the victims of crime.

Criminal Injuries Compensation Board
The Criminal Injuries Compensation Board provides financial assistance to innocent victims of crime who have suffered physical injury.
Division of Pretrial Detention and Services
The Division of Pretrial Detention and Services assists the victims and witnesses of crimes when the perpetrator is in custody at the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center or the Baltimore City Detention Center.
Victim Information Notification Everyday – National Victim Notification Network
VINE provides victims of crime and the public with important information such as hearing dates and status updates as the offender's case goes through the various phases of the criminal justice system.
Division of Correction
The Division of Corrections Victim Services Unit assists victims of crime by informing them of an inmate's release from incarceration.
Division of Parole and Probation
The Division of Parole and Probation's Office of Victim Services serves victims of offenders who are being supervised in the community.
Maryland Parole Commission
The Victim Services Unit of the Maryland Parole Commission identifies and notifies victims of their rights during the parole hearing process.
